One of my favorite events of the year, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic has come and gone (yet again), and I’m already waiting for next year.

Allie and I began our day at Drybar to make sure we had photo-ready hair, duh! We headed down to Battery Park and hopped on the ferry with a huge Veuve Clicquot flag (so perfect) and made our way to Liberty State Park.
We knew there were a few bottles of champs coming our way, so we took outfit photos before heading to the bar. This year, we decided to be up close and personal to the polo match, so we got prime seats right along the fence in the Rosé Garden. I really enjoyed the match, and the horses were absolutely beautiful. The rest of the day was pretty much perfect. We laughed, we caught up (I really haven’t seen her since her trip to Greece), and we met some new friends! On top of the beautiful weather (thank you, Mother Nature!) one of my favorite actors, Neil Patrick Harris, hosted the event and Alicia Keys performed!
Honestly, when it came to getting dressed for the event, I had no idea what I wanted to wear. After browsing a TON of sites, I came across this stunning Rebecca Taylor crop top and midi skirt set. I had actually ordered another dress as a back up (and ended up falling in love with it…so I kept it too #storyofmylife). I typically stray away from crop tops, but I loved the fun yet feminine silhouette of both of these pieces – I mean the back of this top is AMAZING, right? They were really perfect for the event. I like to think I fit in pretty well with the whole, Rosé Garden theme, no?
I’m already SO sad another Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is over – it’s one of the best events of the year and I HIGHLY recommend attending! Allie and I also think we’re ready to continue our Veuve Clicquot adventures by hopefully attending the match in LA…stay tuned;)
