What is your favorite piece in your closet right now?
Hmm. Always a tough question. I think it’s safe to say that I shop A LOT (but hey, it’s for the blog, right?), but if there was one piece I had to pick right now, it would probably be this this Joie cardigan. I had originally found it during the Nordstrom Sale, but it was just way too out of my price range for a “trendier” piece. When I was randomly doing some online browsing, I found it for over 50% off, and KNEW I needed it! It is SO cozy and I’m really happy I purchased it!
Where do you get inspiration?
It’s probably so cliche, but I live in the city where dreams are lived every single day. So it’s really easy to find inspiration all around New York City. Mostly, I find locations I want to shoot at and think about the kind of outfit that would look good there. And although I work in menswear, I work with ridiculously creative people, so I’m easily inspired at work!

- ANN TAYLOR: 40% off tops until tomorrow! I’m eyeing this one – it has the cutest tiered sleeves and pattern!
- J.CREW: 40% off sale items through the weekend. There are a lot of great pieces up for sale like my go-to stretchy pants, my favorite ballet flats (seriously, they’re as soft as butter), and this amazing pair of jeans…..plus SO much more!
- BAUBLEBAR: Up to 75% off sale items with an additional 20% off! I have this statement necklace (under $30) and this choker (under $25). I’m obsessing over this ring, this phone case (under $15), and this initial necklace ($10)!

New weekend, same sh*t: Easy night in tonight. Shooting tomorrow AM. At night, Matt and I are going to go see Patriot’s Day. As a runner, the Boston Marathon Bombings really hit home. I wrote a post about it here in 2013. I know it’s not going to be an easy watch, but have heard such great things about it! Then on Sunday, it’s a BIG day for football: Steelers vs. Patriots – winner goes to the Super Bowl. EEEEEEEEEEE!

Okay, so I haven’t been to the gym once this week. UGH! Monday I had off for MLK day and was tired after going out for the Steelers’ game on Sunday (a.k.a hungover) and Tuesday I had another day off (thankful for extra vacation days). Wednesday I think I came down with a stomach bug after my sister had one too (WOOF!), so yesterday I didn’t want to push myself.
So yeah, a lot of excuses, but I think they’re pretty valid! But I’m planning to go Monday-Thursday next week – so how about you hold me accountable?;)

I’m finally starting to think about what I want to wear for my trip to London at the end of February! I already have a few things just sitting on my clothing rack, waiting to be packed away in a suitcase and whisked across the pond! This jacket keeps going in and out of stock, but if you get the chance to snag it, YOU HAVE TO! It’s even more stunning in person and actually a lot heavier than a normal topper!

I’m still debating on how I want to set this portion of Pop! Fizz! Chat! up. Some weeks I’m feelin’ links and some weeks I just want to scream about how much I love a certain blogger/Instagrammer/friend/etc. This week I’m feelin’ the latter.
Linda of Live Laugh Linda
Linda and I have been friends since 2010ish. We met when we were both freshmen at Marymount University, and even lived together our junior year! When we both moved back to New York, we both had to figure ourselves out, but in 2016, we really reconnected again! We’ve definitely had our ups and downs, but at the end of the day, she’s one of my best friends and one heck of a blogger (and YouTuber….I think that’s what it’s called)!
Linda’s style is a great mix of classic, casual, and fun. She loves being comfortable, but always looks put together. I love how much she loves her current job at Victoria’s Secret and how her experiences (although not always pleasant) in editorial have helped her grow in the industry. She also has a GREAT handbag collection. Like amazing.
I highly suggest following Linda on Bloglovin’, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram – she’s one of a kind! She also happens to be the one who really pushed me to do this series because she believed in it – and even came up with some of these cute topic names!
I hope you enjoy this Pop! Fizz! Chat! series as much I enjoy writing and researching for it. If you ever have a question you’d like me to answer, feel free to shoot me an email, tweet me, send me a DM on Instagram, or ask it anonymously here!
