The 90s called and they do not want their denim dress back.
THE LOOK | gingham shirt, grey sweater (similar), denim jumper (similar here and here), velvet flats (similar), sunglasses
And that’s because it’s been a hit in the last year or so.
I’m pretty sure the last time (well, not counting this time) I wore a denim dress was for my kindergarten picture. When I saw a denim dress was part of the Nordstrom Sale, it was probably the first thing I added to my cart. It was just too cute not to buy. I wore it A TON during the summer, and recently found it while going through my closet a few weeks ago. When I found this dress (similar one here) in my closet, I was sort of bummed I haven’t worn it in months.
Good thing I decided a few layers would do the trick. I bought this sweater in two colors and it’s at such a good price point (love this color too). And to keep up with the layered look, I threw on a gingham button down underneath just for a little something extra!
I ended up wearing this look for a visit to L.A. Burdick for a hot chocolate tasting. The milk hot chocolate was probably one of the best hot chocolates I’ve EVER had! Side note: Unfortunately, when we went go to shoot this look, I forgot a pair of tights – that’s definitely a #bloggerfail, huh? I was THAT GIRL walking around the city with no tights when it was like 45 degrees. OOPS. Good thing that hot chocolate warmed me RIGHT up.
